Meet Happy

Meet Happy! Upon meeting her it was apparent why this is her trail name. She is simply one of the happiest people we’ve ever met! A pure, genuine type of soul that has a magnetism about her that makes your whole being smile!

Happy was born in Switzerland and spent a lot of time hiking the Swiss Alps growing up ( drool ) and that’s where her love for hiking began!

She has hiked the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim, ran the Ultra Trail du Mont- Blanc , and was going to hike El Dorado but a change of plans landed her on the AT.

On top of all of these amazing accomplishments, Happy is legally blind, and is a true testament to the human capacity to overcome anything.

Her favorite trail so far has been Beaver Brook up to Moosilauke because she loves a good challenge!
