Meet Trip

Meet Trip formally known as Bug Balls (an absolutely hilarious story about a kilt, commando, and Katahdin). How he came to have the name Trip was because he was always tripping on things, including himself!

Trip came bopping down the trail SOBO with an infectious smile and great energy. He was in school finishing up his PH.d when he realized he wasn’t happy and decided to take two years off. A month after that decision he sold everything and got on the trail.

Trip said at first it was really hard to sell everything and leave the only life he’s known but once he started hiking everything started to make sense!

We wish Trip all the best as he continues to Georgia and all the paths he follows from here on!
