Meet Phoneix

This is Phoenix - a powerful woman, who was soft and gentle, but her strength rang through like church bells on a Sunday morning.

Phoenix is 67, and is walking her way home after section hiking the AT for a few years.

Hiking the AT has always been a dream of hers since she was a little girl, but “life happens” she says. “Kids, marriage, work.”

When asked how she got her trail name she simply stated, “ you don’t get to this age without rising from the ashes more than once!”. See what we mean when we say powerful?!
