Meet Benji & Sean

Meet Benji and Sean! They both don’t have trail names … yet, as they just started hiking from Vermont and making their way to Katahdin! Benji was born in New Hampshire, but currently lives in Ohio, while Sean is from Massachusetts. He is very familiar with New Hampshire because his parents have a property in the state that he has been visiting since being young.

Sean and Benji met when Sean rode his bike across the countery two years ago and they automatically clicked. Sean has decided he wanted to hike the Appalachian Trail, originally wanting to do the traditional - Georgia to Maine route - but, he realized he wouldn’t be able to start until later in the thru hiking season. So, the next best bet was section hiking. Sean went to Ohio to say bye to his pal Benji, and Benji decided he wanted to get on trail with him.

That’s what we call true friendship right there!
