Supportive Talk Therapy in a Natural Environment
A Talk in The Woods therapy sessions are held outdoors as we walk through neighborhood parks. Evidence supports the theory that physical activity has positive effects on mental health. Exercise may help if you have mild to moderate depression and may help improve self-image, social skills and cognitive functioning.
"Few people know how to take a walk. The qualifications are endurance, plain clothes, old shoes, an eye for nature, good humor, vast curiosity, good speech, good silence and nothing too much."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
"The important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become."
